Fall Seeding

Late Summer/ early Fall is the perfect time to perform maintenance on lawns.
Aerating & Over-Seeding your lawn in the Fall is the right thing to do!! Heat stress, foot traffic, and weather conditions really take their toll on grass during the Summer months. The good news is that it’s easy to make your lawn thick and healthy by over-seeding. If we put down a layer of seed with a renovator/seeder in the Fall and you water properly, come Spring time your lawn will look terrific again! The most effective time to seed your lawn is in the Fall when temperatures are perfect for seed germination. Seeding in the Fall gives the seed ample time for germination and your success is maximized. So please let us help you get that green lush lawn back. Give us a call, we can help.

Early Spring 2020 Update

Spring is here, providing a welcome awakening of Mother Nature that is reliable and certain in such uncertain times. And while our team is geared up and excited about the new season, we understand this Spring will be different than ever before, and we want to update you on the latest at Seasons Matter. Below is a compilation of some of the information we have been receiving from our professional associations and we would like to share with you:

Regarding the COVID-19 outbreak and the subsequent guidelines implemented by Governor Phil Murphy. Fortunately, our business does fall under “essential service” here in NJ and this means that we are permitted to continue operating with some limitations. We are able to continue to provide service to you with maintenance of your lawn. The Covid-19 information that is being provided on a daily, sometimes hourly basis, requires serious attention and tremendous flexibility as we adopt decisions that are made in the best interest of our team and community. We’re watchful, doing our best to keep a finger on the pulse of these updates, and committed to communicating with our team and customers.
Our employee and customer safety remain our top priority. Therefore, you can feel confident knowing we are committed to strictly adhering to all guidelines set forth by the CDC, state and federal officials.
Here is what we’re doing as a company:

  • We are providing our employees with updates, washing/sanitizing our hands & sanitizing our equipment as needed. Our office staff will be working remotely from home.
  • You should feel free to speak to our technicians when they arrive at your property, but at a safe distance as recommended by the CDC (6-8ft & no shaking hands).
  • We are encouraging you to receive online (emailed) invoices and pay all invoices using our online credit card and ACH online check payment service. This will help reduce the amount of mail we receive and is safer for our office staff at this time.
  • We are providing virtual meetings for both new and existing customers when needed. No face to face meetings/appointments at this time.

Our hearts are heavy due to the sudden and significant health and financial burdens being experienced by us and so many people across the world, our country, and within our communities. We’re all in this together, and small acts of service by each of us will create a big impact in our communities.
We have had so many people reach out to check in on our team. Thank you, it means a lot to us! Take care of yourselves, your families, and those around you! Wash your hands!Seasons Matter, Inc.

We attended the 2019 Green Expo Conference in Atlantic City. This conference covers not only Lawn & Landscape but Golf, Sports Fields and Irrigation too.
Staying informed and on top of the latest research is so important in our industry. Water conservation, IPM, “Going Greener” & recognizing disease in the turf are just a few of the topics covered.
